Kevin Eager wins the Breakaway 2011 short rod biggest fish contest

Kevin sent me these pictures of the winning fish, a nice 41.5 inch King Mackerel caught from his Kayak fishing local offshore (Corpus Christi Texas) using one of his custom made top waters,  trolling through bait balls. Kevin has a great story about the demise of his short pole.

He had just hooked a Spanish Mackerel when a monster 9ft plus Dusky shark jumped on it. Kevin fought the Dusky for an exciting 30 minutes before his small pole let him down.   Kevin takes home $180.00 and some good memories. Great job Kevin.
